Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of directions to official respondents No.2 to 6 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of unknown rogue persons and to provide protection to the petitioner and his property in view of representations dated 08.06.2025 (Annexure P-3), 16.06.2025 (Annexure P-6) and 29.07.025 (Annexure P-9).  



  earned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he had moved a representation dated 29.07.2025 (Annexure P-9) before respondent No.5, but no action on the same has been taken till date and he would be satisfied, if respondent No.5 is directed to look into and decide the said representation. CRWP No.8298 of 2025 Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice and submitted that she has no objection if the aforesaid representation dated 29.07.2025 (Annexure P-9) is looked into.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.5-the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, to look into the aforesaid representation and decide the same within two weeks, and to take appropriate action as per law, if any required, at the earliest, regarding threat perception.
