SUBHAS MEHLA (')*+ The instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to respondents no. 2 and 3 to get the detenue namely Jara wife of the petitioner and daughter of Irshad Khan released from illegal custody of respondents no. 4 to 7. 2.

Vide order dated 18.08.2025 passed by this Court directed respondents no. 2 and 3 to produce the detenue in the Court. 3.

Detenue Jara has been produced by ASI Geeta in the Court today. Detenue was interacted by the Court and on asking of the Court, she stated that she has attained the age of majority and wishes to reside with her SEEMA 2025.08.26 18:31 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

  

 family member.

In view of the above and the fact that the detenue is major and has shown her willingness to reside with her family, no further orders are called for.
