The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions to the respondents to transfer the petitioner (Jaman Singh) from Central Jail, Bathinda to Central Jail, Patiala on the ground that the petitioner is suffering from mental health problems and for getting proper treatment from Rajindra Hospital, Patiala. 2.

None has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. 3.

The learned State counsel has filed a short reply dated 04.03.2026, which is taken on record. While referring to the said reply, he contends that the petitioner has already been granted the concession of bail on 28.01.2026.
