**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) The case has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing.

Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the orders dated 05.03.2019, 10.04.2019 and 26.02.2021 passed by respondents No.3,2 and 1 respectively.

Petitioner is daughter-in-law of Harjeet Singh and seeks information about the proceedings pending before the Income Tax Department.

-2The authorities in hierarchy have informed the petitioner that enquiries are still in progress and the information sought by the petitioner is a third party information and Section 8(1) (e) of RTI Act, 2005 is applicable and third party information cannot be given to the petitioner and the authorities are under no obligation to give such information as the same is not in larger public interest.

Keeping in view the inter se relationship of the petitioner vis-a-vis Harjeet Singh who is none else but father-inlaw of the petitioner, it appears that the parties are under litigation at different level.

After arguing this case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Income Tax Officer be directed to conclude the pending enquiry proceedings within a specified period.

On 15.02.2020, Mr. Arihant Goyal, Advocate accepted notice on the basis of advance notice served upon the department.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that since enquiry proceedings are pending and it may take some time in its culmination, the department would act strictly in accordance with law.

-3In view of findings given by the authorities in hierarchy, no interference is called for in this writ petition. Dismissed.
