This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of the directions to the official respondents to take action against the private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that despite numerous complaints, no action has been taken against the private respondents.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from Sub Inspector Manjit Kaur, has stated that the case is being enquired into by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Crime Against Women, Nawanshahr and that barring the husband and mother-in-law of the petitioner, who are TRIPTI SAINI 2023.09.22 10:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

2023:PHHC:124771 CRM-M-47465-2023 -2permanent residents of UK, the others, who had been sent notices under Section 41-A CrPC, have joined investigation. Learned counsel would further contend that the husband and mother-in-law, who are respondent Nos.7 and 8, could not be served at the given address and that every endeavour is being made to serve notices upon them. Learned State counsel, on instructions, further states that every endeavour shall be made to conclude the enquiry at the earliest.

In view of the submissions made by the learned State counsel, no further orders need to be passed in the present case. Accordingly the present petition is disposed off. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
