(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.31, dated 01.09.2018 (Annexure P-1), registered at Police Station Sadar Pathankot, District Pathankot, under Sections 420 & 506 IPC on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 15.11.2022, report dated 09.12.2022 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Pathankot, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them with their free will, consent, without any threat, coercion and undue influence. In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.31, dated 01.09.2018 (Annexure P-1), registered at Police Station Sadar Pathankot, District Pathankot, under Sections 420 & 506 IPC along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
