The present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for issuing a direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to get released both the detenues Sandeep Singh and Arshdeep Singh, who are in illegal detention of respondent No.4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present criminal writ petition has been rendered infructuous on account of the fact that both detenues have been recovered.
