The present revision petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to the Trial Court to conclude the trial of the Civil Suit bearing No.1603 of 2021 (Annexure P-1) in a time bound manner.

The dashboard of the District Courts, Kaithal available on the website of National Judicial Data Grid reveals the pendency of 9601 such civil suits including 10 years old cases.

Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case titled as High Court Bar Association, Allahabad Vs. State of U.P. & Ors. [2024 (2) RCR (Civil) 195] has held in para No.37(c) as under :
" 37(c) Constitutional Courts, in the ordinary course, should refrain from fixing a time-bound schedule for the disposal of cases pending before any other Courts. Constitutional Courts may issue directions for the timebound disposal of cases only in exceptional Yogesh Sharma 2025.08.04 10:00 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this judgment/order.

No exceptional circumstances have been shown to this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner for issuance of directions to the Court concerned for decision of the said civil suit expeditiously. The present revision petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
