State counsel has placed on record a copy of order dated 10.02.2026, passed by District Collector, Sangrur, whereby it has been found that petitioner has to deposit deficit stamp duty as well as other charges along with interest. A copy thereof has been supplied to counsel for the petitioner. 2.

As order has been passed under Section 47-A of Indian Stamp Act, 1899, petitioner has remedy of filing an appeal and instant writ petition is not maintainable.

Petition is dismissed as not maintainable.

Liberty is granted to petitioner to take recourse to the remedy available to him in accordance with law.
