CRM-M-47717-2023 Petitioners is seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to look into and decide the written complaint/representation bearing UID No.2277900 dated 22.03.2022 moved by the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a representation was given on 22.03.2022 (Annexure P-1) to the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, however, it had failed to yield any response. It has been submitted that the official respondents were under PUNEET SACHDEVA 2024.02.15 16:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police Amritsar, to look into the complaint/representation dated 22.03.2022 (Annexure P-1) of the petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

In the wake of the limited prayer of the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of and respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate steps, if any required, under the provisions of law. However, if respondent No.2 does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the representation dated 22.03.2022 (Annexure P-1), then the petitioner shall be duly informed as per the parameters laid down by the Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Versus Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. 2013 (4) RCR (Criminal) 979.
