**** AJAY KUMAR MITTAL, A.C.J. (Oral) The challenge in this Letters Patent Appeal filed under Clause X of the Letters Patent Act is to the order dated 14th July, 2017, passed in CWP No. 14607 of 2016, titled as, "Pavitar Singh Vs. State of Punjab and others", by the learned Single Judge.

It was urged by the learned counsel for the appellant that the learned Single Judge had erred in endorsing the finding that "the resignation of President has not been accepted."

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the appellant states that he may be allowed to withdraw the present appeal with liberty to file a review application before the learned Single Judge, as the said finding has been erroneously recorded.
