Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing respondents No.2 to 4 to protect the life of the petitioner lodged in Central Jail, Faridkot in case FIR No.32, dated 10.06.2023, PS Amir Khas, Fazilka, under Section 307 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act as he was brutally attacked by other inmates in the prison and are still trying to attack and kill him. It is further prayed to direct respondents No.2 to 4 to decide the representation, dated 28.08.2024 and shift the petitioner from Central Jail, Faridkot, to some other jail in Punjab to ensure his safety.
