Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the order dated 30.10.2023 appointing the private respondents as Additional Assistant Commissioner (under training), which learned Senior counsel, on instructions, does not press as there is one vacancy which was and is still available. 2.

Reference is also made to order dated 19.09.2023 wherein, while issuing notice of motion, it had been directed that in the meanwhile the case of the petitioner be considered as per the Rules ignoring the vigilance inquiry, which during the pendency of the present case, also stands filed on 05.02.2024.

In wake of the above developments, he states that the claim of the petitioner for promotion may now be considered in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection. 4.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner, within a period of 6 weeks, HAMANT 2025.03.25 16:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith.
