(ORAL) Vide this petition, the petitioners seek the concession of 'anticipatory bail' under the provisions of Section 438 of the Cr.P.C., upon FIR no.0235, dated 09.10.2021, having been registered at Police Station Samana, District Patiala, alleging therein the commission of offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 506, 148 and 149 of the IPC as also Section 3(x) of the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

When this court was not inclined to entertain the petition simply on the ground that the petitioners have approached the High Court at the first instance without having filed a similar petition before the learned Sessions Judge, Patiala, (even though it is concurrent jurisdiction, but with this court having held that it would generally not entertain such petitions as discussed in the order dated 14.09.2021 passed by this court in CRM-M-6893 of 2021, titled as Harbans Lal v.
