Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing respondent No.2 to decide the statutory appeal dated 03.06.2024 (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioner against the order of punishment dated 29.04.2024 (Annexure P-2) issued under endorsement No.PWC/EST/E-10/EF-374/7226-35/24 dated 03.05.2024 passed by respondent No.1, vide which punishment of stoppage of two increments with cumulative effect has been imposed upon the petitioner. Further prayer has been made to stay the operation of order dated 29.04.2024 (Annexure P-2) till respondent No.2 decide the statutory appeal dated 03.06.2024 (Annexure P-3), filed by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for deciding the statutory appeal dated 03.06.2024 (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioner expeditiously by passing a speaking order in a time-bound manner. 3.

Mr. Vikas Arora, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and raised no objection to the innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Accordingly, respondent No.2 - Appellate Authority, Punjab State Warehousing Corporation, is directed to decide the statutory appeal dated 03.06.2024 (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law by passing a speaking order as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and convey the same to the petitioner.

The petition stands disposed of.
