The petitioner has filed the instant petition for issuing directions to the respondents No. 2 and 3 to decide his representation dated 20.06.2025 (Annexure P3) by ordering an independent and impartial inquiry. 2.

Notice of motion to the respondents No. to 4 only. 3.

Mr. Eklavya Darshi, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 4.

The learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a co-sharer in the lands located in village Talwara, Tehsil Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur and there is a dispute with regard to the said property with other co-sharers. Therefore, he filed a civil suit titled "Gurdev Singh v. Basant Singh and Others" (CIS No. CS/515/2020). The Court of Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Mukerian, has passed an interim injunction order on 18.12.2020 restraining the respondents from altering the DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2025.08.07 19:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document land or unlawfully cutting the trees. He further submits that the defendants in

Criminal Misc. No. M-42537 of 2025 the aforesaid suit have attempted to occupy the land in dispute by violating the injunction order. Thereafter, he filed a complaint dated 17.06.2025 (Annexure P2) in the Police Station, Talwara, but no action has been taken thereon as yet. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has made a representation dated 20.06.2025 (Annexure P3) with the respondents No.2 and 3, but the same is not disposed of as yet. He further submits that a direction for disposing of the representation (Annexure P3) be given to the concerned authorities and the instant writ petition be disposed of. 5.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3 to decide the representation (Annexure P3) within a period of 15 days from today, by passing a speaking order.
