(Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.3 to issue joint regular time table and grant regular timings to the petitioner to operate its route permit on the route Ferozepur to Ludhiana via Talwandi Bhai, Moga, Jagraon and Mullanpur (one permit with half return trip). Petitioner is holder of valid stage carriage permit and is entitled for grant of regular time table and regular timings for operation of its route permit.

CWP No. 24680 of 2022 -2on instructions from Mr. Karambir Singh Cheema, Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Ferozepur submits that 10.11.2022 is the date fixed for convening a meeting of all the stake holders for the purpose of granting the requisite regular timings in the regular time table.

Decision taken on 10.11.2022 in any case shall cover the case of the petitioner as well.

In view of statement made by learned State counsel, this writ petition is disposed of as such, however with liberty to the petitioner to avail its legal remedy in accordance with law, if something survives after the meeting dated 10.11.2022. 28.10.2022 (RAJ MOHAN SINGH) Jyoti Sharma JUDGE
