(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing FIR No. 1104 dated 03.11.2018 under Sections 323, 34, 406, 498-A, 506 IPC registered at Police Station Model Town Panipat, District Panipat (Annexure P-1) and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, in view of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Criminal Appeal No. 1265 of 2017 (arising out of Special Leave Petition (Crl.) No. 2013 of 2017) titled "Rajesh Sharma and others vs. State of U.P. and another".

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he may be permitted to withdraw present petition, as the same has been rendered infructuous.
