The present petition has been filed seeking protection of life and liberty of the petitioners it was stated that petitioner No. 1 has been divorced by respondent No. 4, though, there is no cogent proof thereof. 2.

As per the status report filed by the learned State counsel, the statement of respondent No. 4 has been recorded, who is none other than the first husband of petitioner No. 1, who has submitted that petitioner No. 1 has not been divorced by him, however, states that he has no objection if petitioner No. 1 would marry petitioner No. 2. 3.

It is a strange case, where both the petitioners are married with somebody else and are having 05 children each from their previous marriage and have approached this Court by making false averments with regard to their divorce.

Further, in light of the fact that there is no threat perception to the petitioners, the present petition is only an abuse of process of law and therefore, the same is dismissed with a cost of Rs. 50,000/- to be deposited by the petitioners within one month from today in the following account:- Account Name - Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association Lawyer's Family Welfare Fund.
