The present petition has been filed for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to conduct fair, impartial and expeditious investigation in case FIR No.228, dated 12.10.2009, registered under Sections 465, 466, 467, 468, 471, 474, 420, 120-B and 34 IPC at Police Station City Muktsar, District Sri Muktsar Sahib.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to avail of alternate remedy, if any, available to them in accordance with law. 3.
