(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for quashing/setting aside order dated 14.09.2022 (Annexure P-4) passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar, vide which bail bonds and surety bonds of the petitioner were cancelled and forfeited to the State and non-bailable warrants of arrest of the petitioner have been issued due to his non-appearance in case out of FIR No.31 dated 04.03.2019 registered under Sections 323, 506, 148, 149 IPC and Sections 3/4 of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act at Police Station Raja Sansi, District Amritsar Rural. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and perused the paperbook.

Perusal of file shows that the petitioner was granted the concession of anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 30.04.2019 passed in CRM-M-16676 of 2019. However, he remained absent on 14.09.2022 without intimation to the Court, which resulted into RAVINDER SINGH 2022.10.28 16:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

-2CRM-M-49622 of 2022 cancellation of his bail and forfeiture of bail/surety bonds to the State. No cogent reason has been given by the petitioner for his absence. Impugned order is perfectly valid in the eyes of law. I do not find any illegality or perversity in the same.
