DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(Oral) As per latest status report filed by way of affidavit dated 17.11.2023 of Shri Kapil Ahlawat, Asstt. Commissioner of Police, Sadar Gurugram, cancellation report has since been filed before the Court of competent jurisdiction on 08.11.2023 and now the matter is fixed for consideration of the same on 24.07.2024.

In view of the aforesaid report, present petition is hereby disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail other alternative remedies available to him under the law including filing of protest petition, if he so wishes.

Since, petitioner has also apprehended threat to his life and liberty, therefore, necessary steps will be taken by respondent No.3-the Commissioner of Police, Gurguram, to assess the threat perception to the life and liberty of the petitioner and as per requirement to do the needful.
