By way of present petition filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, contempt proceedings are sought to be initiated against the respondents towards alleged willful non-compliance of order dated 04.08.2023 passed by this Court in CWP-6090-2014.

Learned counsel representing the respondents on instructions submits that the petitioner has joined on the post of Assistant Treasurer, in the Office of Department of Finance and Accounts, Government of Punjab, however, the SANDAL SHARMA 2024.09.26 14:51 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
COCP-2932-2023 (O&M) -2admissible benefits shall be released to him within a period of six weeks from the date on completion of his probation period.

In view of the aforesaid undertaking, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition. 4.
Dismissed as not pressed.

Rule stands discharged.

However, in case the needful is not done within the aforementioned period, as per the undertaking, the petitioner would be at liberty to seek revival of contempt petition and in that eventuality, the erring/concerned officer would be liable to pay a sum of Rs.50,000/- as costs from his/her own pocket in favour of the petitioner towards litigation expenses, immediately i.e. on the first date of listing of revival application (HARKESH MANUJA) JUDGE S.Sharma(syr) Whether speaking/reasoned :
