As per the facts, Sandeep Kaushik filed written complaint regarding threats received by him for extortion of money. He stated that he was sitting in his office when he received a threatening whatsapp call for extortion of Rs.2 crores. Said caller stated that he was Bhau Ritoli and he gave one day to pay the amount of ransom. Thereafter, such like whatsapp calls were received on different dates. During investigation said threatening calls were recorded. Complainant was requested to reach Bahalgarh, Sonipat who went there as per the plan of police party. On the disclosed place complainant refused to go with the ransom and on this bogus plaintiff as per the instructions of the police along with currency notes bags went there. Two separate teams were constituted to raise the suspect when the money was handed over to accused Harshvardhan @ Chhatku. With these allegations, present FIR has been registered. 3.

Learned counsel for petitioner argued that he is falsely implicated in this case. Accused who was apprehended on the spot has been granted bail by the learned JMIC, Rohtak vide order dated 03.10.2024. So far as present petitioner is concerned, he is allegedly connected with the said crime on the basis of disclosure statement of main accused. Present petitioner is ready to join the investigation as and when required. He does not have criminal antecedents. No specific role is attributed to him. It is prayed that his anticipatory bail may be allowed. 4.

Bail application is opposed by learned counsel representing State. Facts narrated are not disputed. Regarding Harshvardhan @ Chhatku challan has been presented on 21.09.2024 and it is fixed for consideration on charge. Regarding present petitioner on completion of investigation, challan will be presented. Petitioner is nominated by Harshvardhan during disclosure statement. His custodial interrogation is required.    petitioner and other co-accused are part of gangster Dagar. They are connected with call detail records. Considering the allegations, present petitioner is not entitled to be released on anticipatory bail. 5.

I have considered the arguments and have gone through the record. Main accused Harshvardhan @ Chhatku is already arrested and also granted relief of regular bail. Present petitioner is named by Harshvardhan @ Chhatku in his disclosure statement. Otherwise, petitioner has no criminal antecedents. He is ready to join the investigation.
