By way of filing the instant contempt petition, the petitioner has alleged intentional and willful disobedience of the order dated 21.10.2024 (Annexure P-3), passed by this Court in CWP-13006-1998. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the original punishment order was passed by The Chief Soil Conservator, Punjab and thereafter, the appeal was decided by the Appellate Authority. The petitioner challenged the said order and this Court, vide order dated 21.10.2024 (Annexure P-3), remanded the matter and directed the Appellate Authority to decide the appeal afresh in accordance with law. It is further contended that the same authority, which passed the punishment order i.e. The Chief Soil Conservator, Punjab, has now decided the appeal by passing the order dated 06.03.2025 (Annexure P-4), which is contrary to law, as the original disciplinary authority had no jurisdiction to pass such order. 3.

Mr. Balwinder Singh, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that the Administrative Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare has decided the appeal by passing a fresh order dated 09.09.2025. Copy of the said order has been submitted in the Court today, which is taken on record. A copy thereof has been supplied to the counsel opposite. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition may be disposed of with liberty to challenge the aforesaid order dated 09.09.2025, passed by the Administrative Secretary to Government of Punjab, Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare. 6.

Disposed of with aforesaid liberty.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
