RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for quashing of impugned order dated 03.09.2020 passed by learned JMIC,Phillaur, whereby the petitioner was declared as a proclaimed offender.
At the outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is arriving India on 24.10.2022. He prays that the petitioner has an apprehension of being arrested, however, she is ready to appear before the concerned Court in accordance with law.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that in case the petitioner arrives India on 24.10.2022, then she would have the protection of arrest for ten days from that day. It is further directed that if within those ten days, she appears before the Court of competent jurisdiction and files an appropriate application for redressal of her grievances, the Court concerned would deal with the same and decide it in accordance with law.
