Mr. Sandeep Jasuja, Advocate for the petitioner. VINOD S. BHARDWAJ , J (ORAL) Prayer in the instant writ petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent Nos.1 to 3 to grant 2nd Higher Standard Scale (HSS) to the petitioner w.e.f 01.01.1994 along with interest @ 12%, in the light of judgment dated 16.11.2016 (Annexure P.13) of this Court. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with regard to his grievance, the petitioner has already submitted his representation/application dated 07.05.2024 (Annexure P-19) but the respondents have not taken any action thereupon till date. He contends that the petitioner would be satisfied at this stage, in case respondent No.3-the Superintending Engineer, Electrical Circle, Nirman Sadan, Gurugram is directed to consider and decide the representation/application dated 07.05.2024 (Annexure P-19) submitted by the petitioner, by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner. Notice of motion.

CWP No.22514-2025 Dr. (Ms.) Malvika Singh, DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and she does not have any objection to the above request. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with the consent of the parties and without commenting anything on the merits of the case, by directing respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representation/application dated 07.05.2024 (Annexure P-19) by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of four months of the receipt of certified copy of this order. Needless to mention that if upon considering the said representation, in case any monetary benefit is found due and payable to the petitioner(s), the same shall be disbursed in favour of the petitioner(s) within a further period of two months.
