(Oral) The petitioner has preferred this petition under Article 226 of the Constituion of India seeking direction to the official respondents to protect his life & liberty and members of his family from respondents No.5 & 6, who are police officials, who stated themselves close relative of respondents No.7 & 8. It is further submitted that the petitioner is being harassed at the instance of respondents No.7 & 8 and there is strong apprehension in the mind of petitioner that he shall be implicated in flase case by respondents No.5 & 6.

The counsel for the petitioner submitted that the police has not taken any action in the representations Annexures P-1 to P-3 submitted GAURAV SOROT 2021.12.23 14:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRWP-12131-2021 before respondents No.1 to 3, respectively. He further submitted that he will be satisfied if necessary direction is given to respondent No.4 to take action on the representation dated 18.11.2021 (Annexure P-3). Notice of motion.

Mr. H.S. Multani, AAG, accepts notice on behalf of the State of Punjab. He submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law. In the light of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider and decide the representation dated 18.11.2021 (Annexure P-3), after verifying the facts in accordance with law within a period of next 1 month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
