**** SUKHVINDER KAUR , J. (Oral) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of directions to official respondents No.1 to protect life and liberty of petitioners and their family members which is in danger at the hands of respondent Nos.2 & 3 as the respondent Nos.2 & 3 along with other police officials are continuously raiding the house of the petitioners without any warrant and harassing them and their family members on the one pretext or the other. During course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he had moved a representation dated 29.07.2024 (Annexure P-4) before respondent No.1, but no action on the same has been taken till date and he would be satisfied, if respondent No.1 is directed to look into and decide the said representation. Notice of motion.
Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice and submitted that she has no objection if the aforesaid representation dated 29.07.2024 (Annexure P-4) is looked into.

CRWP-8389-2025 In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 - Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur, to look into the aforesaid representation and decide the same at the earliest and to take appropriate action as per law, if any required, at the earliest, regarding threat perception.
