**** SANDEEP MOUDGIL , J.(ORAL) This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to take appropriate legal action against respondent No.4 on the basis of allegations levelled in the present petition as well as in the complaint (Annexure P-4).

This Court, yesterday on 16.09.2024 passed the following order:- 'The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a direction to take appropriate legal action against respondent No.4 on the basis of allegations made in the present petition as well as on the complaint moved by the petitioner to the official respondents to ensure her safety and restore her rights over her property because respondent no.4 gave beating to the petitioner and has taken the pension money from her forcibly and thrown out the petitioner who is a senior citizen. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Jaspal Singh Guru, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and seeks time to get necessary instructions and to apprise the Court that what action has been taken on the representation dated 20.05.2024 (Annexure P-3) made by the petitioner. On his request, adjourned to 17.09.2024.'

In pursuance of the aforesaid order, learned State counsel has produced a copy of the FIR No.0129 dated 16.09.2024 registered at 09.50 PM at Police Station Adampur, Jalandhar Rural. A copy of which has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner and the same has been taken on record as Document-A.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner do not wish to press the present petition any further since the primary grudge raised in the present petition stands redressed.
