(ORAL) Prayer in the writ petition is for issuing writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to release arrears along with interest in terms of order dated 20.02.2019 (Annexure P-3) in LPA No.1273 of 2018 and other connected matters, as petitioners are working continuously as Watchman-cum-Peon.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondent No.2-Director Department of Elementary Education, Panchkula to consider the representation dated 03.09.2019 (Annexure P-4) in terms of order dated 20.02.2019 (Annexure P-3) within a stipulated period. Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.2-Director Department of Elementary Education, Panchkula to consider the representation dated 03.09.2019 (Annexure P-4) in terms of order dated 20.02.2019 (Annexure P-3) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass a speaking order thereon, PANKAJ KUMAR 2019.10.18 10:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No.29288 of 2019 (O&M) -2failing which respondent No.2 shall be liable to pay costs of `25,000/- to the petitioners. This condition of imposing costs is only to prevent petitioners running from pillar to post and avail remedy of contempt in case of non-compliance of directions issued by this Court. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
