Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuing directions to the respondents for taking decision on the representations dated 28.07.2022 & 21.09.2022 (P-3 & P-6 respectively) made by petitioner.

At the outset, learned counsel on instructions from petitioner submits that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case the above representations are decided expeditiously.

Notice of motion to the aforesaid limited extent. On asking of the Court, Ms. Lavanya Paul, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent(s)-State and raises no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioner. In view of the above, but without expressing any opinion on merits of the claim of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed off with direction to respondent No. 1 to consider and decide the above representations as per law, within two (02) weeks from receipt of certified DINESH KUMAR 2022.10.29 16:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document copy of this order.
