MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (ORAL) The petitioners are seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents for taking appropriate legal action against the private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that despite repeated representations having been given to the official respondents against respondents No.4 to 11, who have committed a huge fraud upon them, the official respondents have been sitting over the matter and have failed to initiate any steps in accordance with law. Learned counsel submits that even though, pursuant to representation dated 10.05.2023 (Annexure P-6) given to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga, a recommendation for registration of an FIR had been made, however, yet again the official respondents had failed to proceed in accordance with law against respondents No.4 to 11. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga, to look into their representation PUNEET SACHDEVA 2023.12.22 13:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document.

In the wake of the prayer of the petitioners, the instant petition is disposed of and respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga, is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioners and take appropriate steps against respondents No.4 to 11, if any required, under the provisions of law. However, if respondent No.2 does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the representation dated 10.05.2023 (Annexure P-6), then the petitioners shall be duly informed as per the parameters laid down by the Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. 2013
