       Members of the bar are abstaining from work on account of strike. Dr. Anjuman Bhaskar, Joint Director, Food Procurement, Punjab appearing on behalf of respondent No.1State of Punjab submits that the matter has been reexamined and the petitioners as well as respondent No.3 have been found eligible and therefore, nothing further survives for adjudication in the petition. She further submits that the petitioners have informed the respondent authorities that they would be withdrawing the writ petition before this Court. However, as on date, no such application for withdrawal of the petition has been filed. She further submits that the matter relates to distribution of fortified rice Kernels (FRK) and is therefore, urgent and in case stay is continued, the supply of fortified rice all over the State would be seriously affected and jeopardized and therefore, the stay be vacated.   [2] Smt. Parampal Kaur Sidhu, Additional Managing Director, PUNGRAIN, has filed an affidavit in this regard which is taken on record. From a perusal of the order dated 29.10.2022 passed by this Court, it is evident that this Court had ordered to the respondentauthorities to reconsider the case of the petitioners and while doing so it was also directed that no further orders to the rest of the successful bidders shall be issued. However, in terms of the aforesaid interim order, the authorities having reexamined the matter have now declared the petitioners as well as respondent No.3 technically qualified.

In such circumstances, taking the statement of the officers present in Court as well as the affidavit filed and in terms thereof, the petition filed by the petitioners stands disposed of permitting the authorities to proceed further in the tender matter and grant liberty to the petitioners to approach this Court again in case any cause of action further survives or arises. Since the main petition has been disposed of, no orders are required to be passed in Civil Miscellaneous Application No. 172682022.
