HARINDER SINGH SIDHU (ORAL) The petitioner has approached this Court by invoking the provisions of Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to the concerned authorities to present the challan in case FIR No.123 dated 14.9.2018 under Sections 451,323,149,506 IPC registered at P.S Amargarh District Sangrur at his instance.

The grievance of the petitioner is that despite one year having elapsed no action has been taken in the present matter. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation (P.1) dated 01.8.2019 to the I.G.P Patiala Zone, Patiala, a copy whereof has been endorsed to the S.S.P Sangrur.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner would again submit a representation on similar lines to the S.S.P, Sangrur-respondent No.3. Without commenting upon the merits of the case or opining on the veracity of the allegations contained in the representation, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner, as raised by him in the representation submitted/to be submitted and take appropriate action as may be warranted by law.
