The instant Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside the orders dated 08.11.2019 and 26.02.2024 (Annexures P-1 and P-2 respectively).

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition, however he submits that appropriate directions be issued to the learned Collector to conclude the proceedings, in pursuance of the remand order dated 08.11.2019 (Annexure P-1), passed by respondent No. 2, in a time bound manner. 3.
Mr. Navneet Singh, Sr. DAG, Punjab, who has appeared on behalf of respondent/State in this case, pursuant to the advance copy of petition having been sent to the State, submits that the concerned Officer shall make earnest endeavour to conclude the proceedings in pursuance of HIMANI GUPTA 2024.09.13 09:16 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh
