RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. praying for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.316, dated 28.06.2024, under Section 22 and 29 of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station City Barnala, District Barnala.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of this petition, at this stage, with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court with a direction to learned trial Court to decide his bail application in a time bound manner. Allowed as prayed for. Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. In case the petitioner surrenders before the concerned Court within one week from today and applies for regular bail, the competent Court would decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within three days from the date of its filing.
