This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the official respondents to conduct the enquiry of funds and expenses incurred by respondent No.6 (Jaswinder Singh, Sarpanch of Village Mattar Hithar, Tehsil Guruharsahai, District Ferozepur), which were for the development of the village and to take action against him for embezzlement of panchayat funds in MGNREGA scheme from the year 2019 to 2024.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to pursue his remedies before the concerned department. 3.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
