**** SANDEEP MOUDGIL , J.(ORAL) This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking interim regular bail to the petitioner for a period of 08 weeks for medical treatment of his mother in case FIR No.03 dated 17.01.2023 under Sections 22, 61, 85 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Tallewal, District Barnala (Annexure P-1).

In compliance to previous order dated 16.09.2024 State has verified the said fact and has placed on record the certificate issued by Dr. Rimpy (Megha) Bansal, M.D., Lifeline Multi Specialty Hospital, Barnala, stating that the patient Parvinder Kaur w/o Gurtej Singh who is mother of the present petitioner Damanjeet Singh @ Daman who has been recently operated upon for Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy with BSO and thereafter, was discharged on 21.09.2024 uneventfully. CRM-M-45902-2024 -2In the light of above, petition is accepted considering the bona fide and genuine reasons brought before this Court. Hence, the petitioner is directed to be released on interim regular bail for 08 weeks to take care of his ailing mother who is clinically ill subject to his furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned with effect from tomorrow i.e. 25.09.2024 who shall surrender to the Superintendent of Jail, concerned by 5 PM on 20.11.2024 positively.
