Challenge in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is to the order dated 07.03.2019 (Annexure P-2), whereby, the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Chandigarh, has closed the evidence of the petitioner in Criminal Complaint No.227-2016, titled as "Pallavi Kumar Yadav vs. Pardeep Kumar Yadav". It was observed therein that the petitioner did not turn up for her examination despite the fact that last opportunity was granted to her to complete her evidence. The matter was adjourned for the evidence of the respondent. 2.

Vide order dated 04.10.2019, passed by this Court, notice of motion was issued, subject to deposit of Rs.25,000/- before this Court within a period of one month.

Learned counsel for the respondent has informed that the petitioner has not deposited the said amount till date.

An application bearing No.CRM-34266-2019 was also filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking extension of time to deposit the said amount of SIMRANDEEP KAUR 2024.08.31 09:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.

CRM-M-42921-2019 (O&M)  Rs.25,000/- in compliance of the order dated 04.10.2019. However, the said amount has not been deposited by the petitioner.

On 22.01.2024, 12.08.2024 and 23.08.2024, none had appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 7.

It seems that the petitioner has lost interest in the present petition and she does not want to pursue the same.

In view of the above, the present petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
