HARINDER SINGH SIDHU (ORAL) By way of filing this petition, the petitioner has prayed for getting investigation of case FIR No.0162 dated 01.09.2019 under Sections 307,323,324,341,506,148,149 IPC and Sections 25,27 of Arms Act, 1959, P.S. Ajnala, Tehsil Ajnala, District Amritsar conducted from some independent agency or Special Investigation Team of Gazetted Officers not below the rank of SSP.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though the aforesaid FIR has been registered against respondent Nos.4 to 12, however the matter has not been properly investigated. In this regard, the petitioner has made a representation (P.2) to respondent No.2-SSP Rural, Amritsar but no action has been taken thereon.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case or opining on the veracity of the allegations contained in the representation, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner, as raised by him in the representation (P.2) and take appropriate action as may be warranted by law.
