This writ petition has been filed by the petitionerGurpartap Singh Khushalpur on the basis of previous security cover that was provided to him on the basis of assessment made by the competent authority in the year 2015. The security cover has been de-categorized thereby reducing the security to one security personnel.

Bunch matter with the lead case bearing CWP MOHMED ATIK 2022.08.23 12:25 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment



    No.11872 of 2022 titled 'Om Prakash Soni vs. State of Punjab and others' involving the similar issue has been decided vide order of even date.

This writ petition is also disposed of in the light of observations made in the aforesaid case. The issue with regard to sufficiency or insufficiency or the security cover of the petitioner shall be dealt with by the competent authority in accordance with law and State Security Policy. Till such time the security cover of one police personnel (in existence) shall continue and the security threats of the petitioner shall be dealt on the parameters as laid in CWP No.11872 of 2022 decided vide order of even date.
