Since the prayer made in the petition seeking a direction to the respondents to take back the petitioner in service has been granted, learned senior counsel contends that the petition may be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate representation before the second respondent claiming the remaining reliefs of salary for the period of maternity leave from 01.09.2018 to 05.12.2018 as well as child care leave, and continuity in service in terms of Section 5 of the Maternity Benefits Act, 1961. Learned State counsel contends that in case any such representation is filed by the petitioner, the same will be considered by the second respondent expeditiously in accordance with law. 4.

In view thereof, the petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make representation claiming the remaining reliefs within two weeks from today, and the same shall be decided by the second respondent/Director Technical Education, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within three months of receiving the representation.
