Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 praying for directing respondents No.2 to 4 to take legal action against accused persons, named in FIR No.57, dated 11.05.2024, under Sections 323, 452, 380, 315, 148 and 149 IPC, registered at Police Station Dakha, District Ludhiana, and not to conduct multiple enquiries on application of accused persons in order to save them from arrest as their anticipatory bail has already been dismissed vide order dated 06.06.2024, passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, Annexure P-2. It is also prayed to direct respondents No.2 to 4 to complete investigation expeditiously and submit final report before the competent Court of jurisdiction.

CRM-M-45810-2024 -2above-mentioned FIR was registered on 11.05.2024 and despite dismissal of the anticipatory bail application of the accused, investigating Agency is intentionally delaying the investigation as there is no progress in the same. 3.

Notice of motion to respondents.

On asking of the Court, Mr.Tarun Aggarwal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and has submitted, on instructions from ASI Surender Singh, that investigation in this case is going on and the same would be concluded within six weeks.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to complete the investigation expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within six weeks from today, as submitted above.
