Through the instant petition under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail/pre-arrest bail in case FIR No.98, dated 31.07.2023, registered under Sections 452, 324, 323, 341, 354, 506 and 34 of IPC, at Police Station Amargarh, District Malerkotla (Annexure P-1).

Vide order dated 21.09.2023 passed by this Court, the petitioner was released on interim bail and was directed to join investigation. 3.

Learned State counsel filed status report dated 17.12.2023. The same is taken on record. She further, on instructions from 4.

In view of the said facts, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 17.12.2023 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
