This court vide order dated 09.07.2015 has handed-over the investigation pursuant to FIR No. 171 dated 22.07.2013 registered at police station City Tarntaran to CBI. The court has been informed that CBI completed the investigation and submitted the final report under section 173 Cr.P.C. before the competent court on 23.01.2017. This court does not intend to pass any further order as trial court would be at liberty to examine all the issues.

At this stage, Mr. Maninder Arora, Advocate for the petitioner submits that petitioner, who is husband of the deceased, is contesting the final report submitted by the investigating agency and may be permitted to file the protest petition.
