(ORAL) Through this Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1962 prayer has been made for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to extend the parole granted to him vide order dated 28.10.2021 (Annexure P-1) for a further period of two months on medical grounds.

Counsel for the State, on instructions on phone, submits that they are not disputing the injuries suffered by the petitioner as reflected vide Annexures P-2 and P-3.

Keeping in view that petitioner is 51 years of age and has suffered injury on his left leg, interim parole granted to the petitioner vide RAVINDER SINGH 2022.01.07 15:34 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
