The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking direction to the respondents to re-issue passport.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was convicted vide judgment dated 09.10.2015. The sentence of the petitioner was suspended vide order dated 15.12.2018 passed by this Court. 3.

Learned counsel for respondents No.1 and 2 submits that the petitioner has already withdrawn his application and in the absence of any application, passport cannot be issued.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents may be directed to consider application of the petitioner, if any, filed at subsequent stage in accordance with law.
