The petitioner challenges the correctness of the order passed by the trial Court while allowing the application for interim maintenance. The trial Court has directed both the parties to pay the maintenance @ ₹2,000/- per month each to the wife of late Sh.Bohar Singh and his minor children. 2.

The petitioner herein is the grandfather-in-law of Smt.Kulbir Kaur (respondent No.1). He claims that he cannot be made liable to pay the maintenance particularly when his son (father-in-law of Smt.Kulbir Kaur) is the exclusive owner of 41⁄2 acres of land.

The learned counsel representing the respondents No.1 to 3 submits that he has no objection if the amount can be recovered from Smt.Kulbir Kaur's father-in-law, namely Sh.Jarnail Singh, who also happens to be the grandfather of respondent No.2 and 3. In view of the aforesaid facts, while maintaining the amount,

Civil Revision No. 3522 of 2021 the impugned order is modified to the extent that at the first instance efforts would be made to recover the amount from respondent No.4-Sh.Jarnail Singh.

With the observations made above, this revision petition is disposed of.
