Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for directions to respondents No.1 to 4 for conducting fair, transparent and impartial investigation in case NCR No.1/2023 dated 05.03.2023 registered under Section 494 IPC at Police Station Women, West Gurugram, Haryana through a Senior Police Officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police or through an independent investigating agency viz State Crime Branch/SIT etc. and to take appropriate action against respondents-accused as per law; and to pass appropriate directions for ensuring protection of life and property of the petitioner and her family members.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied if direction is issued to respondents No.1 to 4 to consider and take a final decision in the aforesaid case registered by the petitioner, in a time bound manner.
